An overview of how we did and how we got there
Morphsuits is an innovative fancy dress business famous for its original all-in-one Lycra based costumes. They now have a growing range of other outfits and an enviable new product development pipeline.
While the business had grown on the back of the brilliant Morphsuits product the team had much bigger ambitions and wanted to work with a digital marketing agency that exhibited as much innovation as their own.
Our brief was to grow e-commerce revenues via organic search and support traditional PR efforts and other marketing activity to create an effective, integrated plan.
The Morph Costume campaign began with major technical audits across all sites to ensure the international set up was ‘fit for purpose’. This then rolled into on-page optimisation and the start of a digital PR campaign to drive quality authority into the UK and US domains.
That campaign continues to this day with the brand earning exposure on domains including CNet, the BBC, Mashable, The Next Wed, Business Insider and more.
The result has been a sustainable and continued growth in search visibility and a move into more generic fancy dress is now on the cards.
International ‘outreach’ has also been completed across the Italian, German and French domains, amongst others, and interactive content such as MorphMap has also been created to improve interactivity and generate useful social data for the brand.
