From tiny acorns grow mighty oaks. That’s what they say, and it certainly seems to be true from where we’re standing. Around three years ago, we were sitting around in a small office trying to sell the virtues of content led digital marketing to a market fixated with rankings and algorithm gaming!
Fast-forward to October 2012 and we’re up to a team of 10 content and SEO experts working with a client list that’s now expanding onto multiple pages as one of the leading exponents of content marketing and technical optimisation. What’s more, our efforts have been rewarded with a nomination for a UK Search Award!
We’ve been nominated in the Best SEO Campaign category for our work with McLaren Software on a content marketing campaign; a campaign that saw us achieve a 500% improvement in key conversion metrics over a six month period.
Throughout the project, we’ve been working on a variety of strategies including several pieces of data visualisation, in a bid to make what is currently seen as a ‘boring industry’ into one that attracts the attention of the key influencers in the enterprise space.
Speaking about the shortlist achievement Zazzle MD Simon Penson enthused: “I’m hugely proud of our team as this was a very tricky campaign working in a regulated industry space with lots of complex data. They found a way to make something interesting and shareable and as a result the brand has enjoyed a massive spike in targeted visits.”
